As a seasoned multidisciplinary designer with a passion for innovative creative experiences, I bring a unique perspective to design. With a diverse background in music, visual design, and submersive event installations, I thrive on pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional results.
I am self-driven and have a track record of accomplishing goals I set my mind to. Active in the underground art and music scene, I regularly perform, immersing myself in subcultures to understand their interactions and thrive. This interest in people and culture fuels my empathetic approach to design.
Beyond technical expertise, I bring a diverse design background. My 15+ years of experience span disciplines, from freelance graphic design across industries to creative director roles in small agencies to my current role at Audible. This broad perspective has honed my visual, UI, and interaction design skills, while nurturing a deep commitment to design excellence. As a problem solver at heart, I excel at identifying and prioritizing critical issues, exploring various solutions, and ultimately selecting the best option. User research forms the core of my process, ensuring I consistently advocate for user-centricity and empathy within the business.
My previous role was in a transnational fintech company as a founding designer. The startup grew monumentally in just 2 years: from 7 employees to over 200, 0 customers to 600k, and no volume to 30M in volume monthly. I spearheaded the creation and maintenance of the customer-facing mobile app as well as its corresponding backend web app. I took charge of developing the app's architecture and establishing the design system for the mobile product. These efforts directly contributed to the company’s success, ultimately reaching product market fit in one of the 18 countries we were operating in. Additionally, I made substantial contributions to the company's rebranding efforts and design organization. Professionally, I grew exponentially and learned so much while wearing a million hats (as startup life usually goes).
